Play is serious for the child by Kate Tempesta, World Junior Golf Advisory Board

Play is an essential ingredient in creating a joyful learning environment for children ages 8 and under. Play should not stop at 8 years of age but it is important to note that it is the PRIMARY mode of learning for children in their early years. There are many different types of play and the more you can put it into your lessons the better. In the following video you will see an example of various types of play including: social play, constructive play, creative play, cooperative, dramatic and active.  All of these forms promote growth and LEARNING! PLAY is serious for the child!
